What is Clayton like at 24 months?:
- Repeats anything we say (yes, watch your mouth, JR!)
- Counts to at least 16
- Counts in Spanish to probably about 10 (thank you, Dora)
- Sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star by himself in its entirety.
- Says his ABC's
- Knows a few basic shapes, but loves to point out circles.
- Is potty trained (still wears a diaper at night and during naps or long car rides)
- Loves to look at pictures on the camera or cell phone. Always says "Let me see, let me see!" when we are looking.
- Is very polite. Says "Please" and "Thank you" (which comes out like t.t.).
- Talks about Nana and Grandad (sounds like "Ge-Dad") all the time.
- Loves the water. Can go underwater, blow bubbles, and kick. Can't wait to get him to float on his own!
- Eats pretty much anything and everything.
We had originally planned a birthday party at a local campground with some pools and fun little water features. We found out, however, that they were closing early this summer, so the party ended up being held at our house. It was 101 degrees on his birthday and we had people in and out of the house. Our poor AC couldn't keep up! But, the kids had fun outside playing in some little splash pools, etc. Enjoy the pictures!
